Collective Mourning for Resilience
led by Gabi Jubran and Alison Ramer
October 6th

Online
Join Alison and Gabi for an online collective mourning session that highlights the intersectionality of our grief in these times. From Palestine, to Israel, to Lebanon, to North Carolina … From militarism, war, occupation and apartheid, to incarceration and the climate catastrophe …
The rate of crisis and catastrophe is increasing… Many traditions teach that violence stems from unprocessed grief. When we come together we help ourselves and others process our grief, building resilience and the power to continue struggling together to create a better world.
These collective mourning rituals include opportunities to listen to music and poetry, as well as engage in ritual, contemplation and optional sharing with others.
All people are welcome in the Sanctuary’s collective mourning spaces that uphold these values
